At Rainbow International School, we firmly believe that sports provide valuable opportunities
for experiential learning. As an international institution, we are committed to nurturing,
enhancing, and sustaining athletic talents among our students, which is reflected in our extensive
sports facilities. Rainbow International proudly holds numerous inter-school trophies across
various sports disciplines. Within the International School’s Sports Association (ISSAK), our
students have consistently excelled for example, achieving an impressive record of winning 5 out
of 6 possible football trophies across multiple age groups.
On the international stage, our students represent the school and the country in the Council of
British International Schools Games (COBIS) every two years. Noteworthy accomplishments
include the girl’s football championship at the 2016 COBIS Secondary Games in Dubai and a
runner-up finish at the 2023 COBIS Secondary Games in Rome. Additionally, our students have
achieved numerous medals in athletics and swimming at various COBIS events.
Our boarding section offers a wide variety of sports, each supported by an experienced coach
who provides personalised training. Rainbow’s sports facilities include a full-sized football field,
well-equipped basketball and tennis courts, three indoor volleyball courts, and a swimming pool.
These resources, along with our dedicated coaches, allow our students to excel in local leagues
and international tournaments, including the World Scholar Games and the COBIS Games.
All sports disciplines are given equal importance and are played with great enthusiasm under the guidance of specialised coaches. In an essence, disciplines offered are:
