Rainbow International School Uganda is one of the longest established British International Schools in Uganda, with over 30 years of experience in delivering a high-quality British education. Everyone has a dream, a passion and ambition. At Rainbow, we not only encourage our students to pursue their dreams, we give them confidence, strength and a springboard to take the next steps in their journey.

We are a non-selective school with a proven track record of excellent examination results and Rainbow has a deservedly good reputation for supporting learners of all abilities. Our qualified and experienced teaching team delivers quality teaching and learning throughout the school.  The children’s welfare is at the heart of Rainbow International School. Our small class sizes and caring staff ensure that every child’s happiness and security are achieved.

With students from many nationalities, faiths and cultures, we are a school that strives for academic excellence and caters to the specific needs of every student. Our values-driven approach to education ensures a close mutually supportive learning environment. 

Our students are supported by specialists in English as a second language (ESL) and learning support. We also have a school counselor who together with our staff ensures our student’s emotional health and wellbeing. Throughout the school, there are high expectations of behavior as students are taught to respect traditional ideas in a modern world.
